Why I built this.
When I left 20 years with the U.S. Navy, I had over $100,000 in savings… and I was going entirely by feel about whether I could afford to leave. I had no system. No real picture of what “enough” actually looked like. Just a very strong feeling and a number that was going in the wrong direction.
